What is the Army’s physical fitness program??

The Army’s physical fitness training program extends to all branches of the total Army. This includes the USAR and ARNG and encompasses all ages and ranks and both sexes. Its purpose is to physically condition all soldiers throughout their careers beginning with initial entry training (IET).

What are the requirements to get into the Army fitness course??

Eligibility for the course includes: Being recommended by the battalion commander (or equivalent). Recommended candidates are required to have an Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) score of 240 points or higher, with a minimum of 70 points in each event (down from 80 (Jones, 2013b)).

Can you pass the Army Combat Fitness Test??

Follow the plan and you’ll have no worries about passing the Army Combat Fitness Test. If you don’t qualify to get the programming free, you can still get it.
