1. Speed awareness course invitation

I have been invited by the Metropolitan Police to attend a speed awareness course as alternative to fine and points. The offence was committed in London but I live in Penzance. I need to attend a classroom course as I do not have the equipment to do it online but there are few providers in Cornwall and the nearest one through TTC is in St Austell. Would Devon and Cornwall Police be able to accept me on behalf of the Metropolitan Police? If so, would the course be valid?
