How do I find a WIOA-eligible training provider?

Find your state's directory of WIOA-eligible training programs. If you're eligible for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) training services, you can find eligible training providers in your state. Not sure if you're eligible? Connect with your local American Job Center to learn more and ask about services.

Which programs are exempt from the requirements of WIOA?

Programs in basic skill training, basic computer software training, training in quality practices and general preparatory services are exempt from these requirements. WIOA participants will be able to access these services in accordance with federal and state program guidelines.

What does it mean to be a WIOA certified training provider?

WIOA requires training providers who want to receive WIOA funds to apply for certification and be included on the Statewide List of Certified Training Providers, which includes all training programs that are currently approved by one or more Workforce Development Boards and certified by TWC.

Do you qualify for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding?

This program is administered through One Stop Centers located throughout the state. If you meet certain criteria, you may qualify for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding!
