John Jay College of Criminal Justice, a senior college of the City University of New York, is an internationally recognized leader in educating for justice, committed to the advancement of justice and just societies.
In 1760, 14-year-old Jay entered King's College (later renamed Columbia College) in New York City. There he made many influential friends, including his closest friend, Robert Livingston. Jay took the same political stand as his father, a staunch Whig.
