The academies are only open to those who have been hired to work as law enforcement officers or state corrections personnel in the State of New Hampshire. There are no tuition students. On March 17, 2020 all training was suspended in Concord.
You are certified by the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council as a full-time or part-time police officer or corrections officer, as applicable. How long after I am hired, do I have to become certified? You must attend and successfully complete the training course within 6 months of your date of hire.
