The course begins with a review of the public health impacts of unsafe drinking water. We define physical, chemical, and microbial aspects of drinking water quality and present the major classes of pathogens.
California State University, Sacramento (Office of Water Programs) provides distance learning courses for persons interested in the operation and maintenance of drinking water and wastewater facilities.
The course is held at the Fawcett Center - Highland Room in Columbus, Ohio located off State Route 315 on Olentangy River Road between Lane Avenue and Ackerman Road, directly across from the Schottenstein Center.
